Brand New Original Russian Budenovka Wool Hat

MADE IN RUSSIA. This is a pre and early war hat, with a pointy top and side flaps. It is an essential part of the communist era uniform. The nick-name "budionovka” comes from the hero of the Civil War Semyon Budenny. The hat was worn since 1919 but withdrawn after the campaigning in the winter of 1939 and 1940. It is light brown with red stitching and made of a thick wool cloth. The hat features;
